Welcome Virtual Visitor!

Hello. Glad you could call in. Please imagine this website as a city with broad districts, specific neighbourhoods and individual locations. No one would want to visit an entire city in one go, so take your time, knowing that you'll be welcome back any time to resume your explorations.

Right now you are in the centre - mercifully traffic free - and to your right, lower down, there seems to be a shopping area (well, news of two books you are invited to buy: The Two Worlds of Wellesley Tudor Pole and The Salamander Stone. Thrillingly, one of them is by me and one is by Mrs Me, an author I heartily recommend).

To your left are signposts indicating the districts of the website-city. Perhaps you would like to stretch your conceptual legs and click on a signpost. Let us say you take a journey into the future with Works In Progress. You click, and more signposts appear - different coloured - dark orange and inclined to blush if hovered over. These bring you to the neighbourhoods:

• The Most Beautiful Girl In The World beckons on the first orange signpost.
• A Short, Selective Journey Through Hell awaits on the second signpost.
• A Few Brief Forays Into Heaven could be your fate on the third.

Click on any of these and a page will appear that has a red link at the centre. Now you have a yet further invitation. Let us say that you - brave traveller - have chosen A Short, Selective Journey Through Hell. The red link will invite you to the location of Chapter One. If you accept the offer you will be whisked off into something suspiciously like a PDF file, and now, gentle reader, you are on your own. Whether your experience is of a fascinating vista, a dead end, a beguiling promenade or a hole in the ground - that is for you to decide.

Let's have a brief glance at another district. Gaze, if you will, on the two book covers below. One (by Me) is a biography. The other (by Mrs Me) is a teenage fantasy/thriller. Click on the News district signpost and you can find out more.

  • Or maybe you would prefer works from the past. Try the rich and varied district of Back Catalogue.
  • Or perhaps by now you've decided you want your say. Go ahead: click on Contact Form.
  • Or maybe you just want to get out of here. Click on Links.

So, welcome traveller! I hope you have a pleasant time wandering from place to place. And if you become lost, well, let's hope there's a good reason for that - such as enjoying your stay too much!
